San Roque Park, Santa Uxía de Riveira
Riveira, due to its privileged geographical situation, its mild Atlantic weather and the richness of its sea, has been inhabited by different civilisations since far-off times. All of them had left an important trace behind them, both in the historic-artistic patrimony and in the culture of Riveira.
San Roque Park, in Riveira, is now a subject of study in this way and also a space for leisure since it exhibits copies of those traces found in the different sites all along A Barbanza municipality. It also exhibits the copy of an original town of “pallozas”, traditional houses typical of the Celtic hill forts.
