Traditional granaries, of Rianxo
There are about 770 traditional granaries, which have been catalogued in Rianxo, because of their ethnographic value. Most of them are called mixed as they are made of wood and stone. The most distinguished granaries are those of O Araño (in Traba), which is one of the largest granaries of Galicia; Rianxo or Viturro (in Rianxiño); the Isorna one (in Castelo) and above all the whole of Meiquiz (in Leiro), formed by eight granaries placed in the so-called ‘Campo das Graneiras”:
