Stone crosses, of Rianxo There are two outstanding elements of this typical show of the Galician rural art in the council of Rianxo. One of them is the stone cross of Outeiro, dated around the 17th century. It was used to mark a cross road in Outeiro (Asados). The stone cross known as Laxe Pequena, in Taragoña, has a representation of a small chapel placed in the superior part. It was sculpted in the 16th century and it is close bound to the Way of Saint James, as it can be seen for the four shells placed in the shaft and the carved figure of the Apostle Santiago in one of the sides of the small chapel:
