San Xoán de Macenda
The parish temple of San Xoán de Macenda was built in the 18th century in a rural baroque stile. It is formed by one single nave covered by a barrel vault, to which in 1778 is annex a mansory bell tower. The façade presents the coat of armas of the Caamaño, Figueroa, Soutomaior and othe noble familiesthat without a doubt helped in some way to the building of the temple. In the niche of the side wall it is found an image in polycrome stone of the Virgen de las Nieves (Virgin of the stone) whose festivity is elebrted the 7th of September.
